Address History
Updated over a week ago

USCIS requires your detailed address history for the last 5 years. Please read carefully below.

Some important rules:

  1. The addresses must be entered in descending order- most recent first. For example: you current address where you live should be the first one that is entered.

  2. There must be absolutely no gaps in your address history

USAPath pre-configured engine to help you fill out your address history and how it works:

  1. We already set your address ending for the first address to "PRESENT". This is in line with USCIS guidance on form filling. We have added this to ensure you don't accidentally enter a date.

  2. As you enter your addresses (if you have more than 1 in the last 5 years). We automatically enter your "Date of Residence- To" field based on your response to prior question to make sure there is no gap in history for your addresses.

Frequently asked questions:

Is it ok if my address history (for dates) has 1-2 days difference to actual?

We understand that you may have very small gaps of 1-3 days between your actual lived addresses between places you lived. This can happen because of several reasons like your lease ended in one place but the new one didn't start until 2-3 days later. We suggest that you not touch the dates as this is a very small variation and common. However if your gap in addresses exceed 3 days, we would suggest ensuring you have the correct details provided.
