Why do you need to know if both of us are living together?

This is to ascertain if the US citizen (petitioner/sponsor) and the intending immigrant (beneficiary) currently live together. This information is required by USCIS to establish the prior history of co-habitation and is required for forms.

You should answer all questions honestly, we understand that everyone's life situation is different and you may or may not be presently living together.

It's not a negative if you don't live together and we will provide you help to ensure that we attach the correct evidence and fill out the forms correctly.
